The board discussed the dredging project, but was unable to make any recommendations due to the lack of a quorum.
Bill Aimone, VP called meeting to order at 10:35, when a quorum was established.
Financial Report:
No financial report was available.
Minutes: Bob Bowe asked that in the future, names of homeowners with deed violations not be used. The Board agreed. Tom Baird made a motion to accept minutes as mailed, seconded by Bob. Motion carried.
Section Reports:
Section 1 - June Worrell reported no problems.
Section 2 - House located at Verano needs to be painted.
Section 3 - Evelyn Depew has talked to 2 homeowners regarding the condition of their houses. She will send letters to the homeowners. Additionally she will call the city regarding the house on the corner of Cuadro and Laguna streets. The house appears to be unsafe and perhaps can be condensed. Bill stated the board should be concerned about the doubling of the wastewater treatment plant. We need to work with the city to make sure they erect a fence and landscape the area as it could affect the property values. Evelyn identified another house in her section in need of painting. She will also write a letter to the homeowner.
Section 4 - Tom Baird stated a letter should be sent to the owner of the house at Lunes. Pepper knows the owner and will try to talk to them.
Section 5 - Bill stated it is possible that John Pacinda has sold his house.
Section 6 - The area where Rutherford had his trailer has lots of debris, making it impossible to mow. Bill made the motion to allocate $200.00 to have Ron clean the area. Bob seconded, motion carried. The mortgage company should be contacted regarding the mowing of their property. Pepper will have "cowboy" mow and invoice the mortgage company.
Marina Section - The gate to the boat launch is still malfunctioning. We need to have an estimate on how much it will cost to repair gate.
New Business:
Tom Baird reported on complaints he has received from homeowners. The
shed, owned by TBCIA and used for storage, is in bad condition. The structure
needs to be demolished and removed from the property. Bill made a motion
to allocate $500 to remove the shed. Tom Baird will take care of project.
Bob Bowe seconded and motion carried. Tom also reported the electrical
problems at the entrance to the boat launch, pool and mail boxes needs
to be repaired/replaced. He volunteers to manage the project. Bill made
the motion to allocate $500 for the projects. Bob Bowe seconded, motion
carried.
June Worrell offered to let the board store Christmas decorations under here house in a storeroom.
A 911 telephone is required by the state at all public pools. This matter will be discussed at the next meeting.
Bill made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 1 1:30. Bob Bowe seconded, motion carried.
